Palm Beach International Polo Season – The world’s premier polo players and enthusiasts return to South Florida from January to April for top-level competition at the International Polo Club Palm Beach. Winter Equestrian Festival – As the world’s premier winter equestrian event, the Winter Equestrian Festival hosts more than 6,000 horses and competitors from across the world over the course of 3 months. Each of the 12 weeks is considered its own horse show, with separate competitions, as well as competitions that run throughout the festival. Held at the esteemed Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, it is the largest and longest running horse show with only the best riders of their class. The festival holds a distinct reputation for its stunning grounds and villages, stiff competition, and wealth of its participants. South Florida Fair – Enjoy 17 days of festive fun starting January 17 at the South Florida Fairgrounds. One of Florida’s top fairs will showcase daily parades, nightly live music, family-friendly rides and activities all day long. This year’s theme is “Play Ball, Play Fair!” and will host more than 1,000 exhibitors, 200 rides and games for all ages. Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio – The world’s best female golfers will play in the inaugural Gainbridge LPGA golf tournament at Boca Rio January 20-26. This brand new stop on the LPGA Tour will feature a 108-player field competing for a $2 million purse. Art Palm Beach – Dedicated to emerging art and masterworks of contemporary and divergent art, Art Palm Beach is a must-visit for art enthusiasts and collectors. Downtown West Palm Beach is home to the longest running and most prestigious mid-winter art fair of its kind. More than 85 international galleries will present works in every medium, including painting, photography, sculpture and ceramics along with various special exhibits.
